The show opens with a series of military featuring high belts and fabric ribbons that flutter with the garments. Ferragamo's masterful tailoring is showcased with wool coats and maxi lapels, fur capes with collars that are accompanied by belt closures, and utilitarian suits with military inspirations. Ferragamo red, army green, mustard, black, and burgundy are the colors the collection is built upon.

Less-exhibited and more-told femininity with a clear aesthetic path came in the form of fringed minidresses that express the body's every movement, knitwear dresses with graphic embroidery and beads, latex bodices with splashes of marabou feathers on the décolleté, fluid satin dresses, and dresses that appear to be adorned with a shiny armor of sequins made for looks that were emblematic of the '20s while still maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.

In addition to the garments, the accessories were worthy of attention as well. This season's shoes adopt an androgynous '20s spirit, with traditional details like brogues and masculine monk-strap buckles, while the new mules feature a cigarette heel. With menswear, classic shapes are reinterpreted in a surreal way, with elongated derbies and geometric heels. The ankle boots combine functionality and vintage style with slightly domed toes and a square silhouette. The Hug Bag is decorated with marabou feathers and employs a chic attitude; the Fiamma bag appears in new sizes and colors; and finally, a new model of the Gancini derives its shape from the Florentine lily.

Maximilian Davis strives to maintain and preserve the heritage left by Salvatore Ferragamo and has achieved so with a versatile and diversified collection that has one eye on the past and the other on the present.
