Doja Cat Doesn't Care What You Think of Her Art
The "Woman" singer is clapping back at haters of her iconic Schiaparelli look.
Doja Cat isn't just a singer, she's an artist—in every sense of the word. In January, she attended Schiaparelli's Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture show covered head to toe in red crystals. What you don't know is what happened after the show. "I had a stomach bug and my stomach was turning and it got worse and worse as the show went on," the L'OFFICIEL Art Spring 2023 cover star explains. "When they had to take off the crystals, I was projectile vomiting everywhere and crying. It was a nightmare in real life."
Not long after, Doja responded to the criticism of the look by attending Viktor & Rolf's fashion show in a menswear-inspired look with fake eyelashes glued on in lieu of a mustache and eyebrows. "I just thought it was so funny because you don't go to a museum and look at a painting and say 'I wish it had more blue,'...It was art."
While speaking to L'OFFICIEL for her cover shoot, Doja clapped back at haters while also talking about some of her fashion favorites (and regrets), why she wears lingerie at home, and how she got into art.
