Every year, the Venice Film Festival's red carpet transforms into a high-fashion catwalk; here are this year's best looks.&nbsp;

The <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/2024-venice-film-festival-movie-premieres-dates-facts-to-know" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2024 Venice Film Festival</a> kicked off on August 28, and opened with the sequel to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/addams-family-reboot-tim-burton-christina-ricci" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tim Burton's</a> cult film Beetlejuice. The director took the stage with the entire cast of the movie: <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/jenna-ortega-facts-wednesday-addams-actress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jenna Ortega</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/young-winona-ryder-90s-style-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Winona Ryder</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/young-monica-bellucci-90s-y2k-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Monica Bellucci</a>, and Willem Dafoe who all made red-carpet appearances as well. On the same evening, the 2024 Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement was awarded to Sigourney Weaver of Alien and Avatar fame. On August 29, Maria by Pablo Larra&iacute;n, with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/brad-pitt-angelina-jolie-legal-battle-timeline" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Angelina Jolie</a> in the role of Maria Callas, accompanied by Pierfrancesco Favino and Alba Rohrwacher, got its turn in the spotlight. On August 30, the cover star of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/nicole-kidman-the-perfect-couple-netflix-horror-philanthropy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">L'OFFICIEL September 2024</a>, Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, and Antonio Banderas, raised the temperature of the festival with the erotic thriller Babygirl.
On August 31, Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult present The Order, while Alessandro Borghi returns to present Campo di Battaglia. The next day, all attention is focused on the red carpet premiere of Wolfs, which features <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/8-things-you-didn-t-know-about-ines-de-ramon-brad-pitt-s-new-girlfriend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brad Pitt </a>and George Clooney, followed by Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore accompanying Pedro Almod&oacute;var to the presentation of his first English-language film, The Room Next Door.
Luca Guadagnino and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/all-the-style-to-expect-from-knives-out-3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daniel Craig</a> will present the provocative <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/luca-guadagnino-queer-new-film-daniel-craig" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Queer</a> on September 3rd, followed on September 4 by Joker: Folie &agrave; Deux. Lady Gaga is sure to shut down the red carpet after her glorious performance at the opening ceremony. On September 5th, it's the turn of Iddu - L'ultimo padrino with Elio Germano and Toni Servillo, in addition to the screening of the TV series M. Il figlio del secolo with Luca Marinelli. The festival concludes on September 7 with the screening of Pupi Avati's closing film, while Kevin Costner presents the second chapter of Horizon: An American Saga. The 81st edition of the Venice International Film Festival ends with the presentation of the Golden Lion by Godmother Sveva Alviti in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema.
