Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, and More Front Balmain's Spring/Summer 2022 Campaign
Balmain's latest campaign features supermodels Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Lara Stone, Adut Akech, and Mariacarla Boscono.
The French fashion house Balmain has captured five of today's most famous supermodels in the campaign for the brand's Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Catwalk queen Naomi Campbell, Carlos Bruni, Lara Stone, Adut Akech, and Mariacarla Boscono pose in some of designer Olivier Rousteing's best looks from the collection in a photoshoot by the Mert & Marcus duo and styled by Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall.
In one of the campaign photos, Campbell wears a mini dress in a cocoa brown ruffled fabric, and in another, a red midi-length dress that emphasizes her curves.
Bruni appears in a black shiny tweed dress with a corset and notches, while Boscono wears a tuxedo-type jacket-short and one of the most prominent clothes in the Balmain Spring/Summer 2022 collection, a gold-shiny chain loop corset.
In one of Rousteing's signature silhouettes, Stone wears a bondage dress made of joined fabric strips that almost blends in with her skin tone. In contrast, Akech is dressed in a white futuristic dress that resembles the royal garbs of Ancient Egyptian rulers.
The collection celebrates Rousteing's 10th anniversary at Balmain. The brand accompanied the runway show with an exciting lineup at the Seine Music Festival featuring performances by Doja Cat and Franz Ferdinand. In addition, the runway show included models walking the catwalk as a voice memo from Beyoncé played overhead.
