Tod's Celebrates Refined Elegance For Fall/Winter 2023
The Italian fashion house put craftsmanship at the forefront as it focused on refined yet modernized silhouettes.

For its Fall/Winter 2023 show, the Italian fashion house focused on what it does best: executing high-quality craftsmanship. Embodying contemporary elegance, Walter Chiapponi modernizes signature pieces to tell the story of the label's treasured tradition of quality and high artistry.
Each shape and silhouette was crafted with the utmost intricate detailing and structure that's suited for the modern-day maven. Incorporated throughout the collection were reinterpreted business attire such as relaxed-fit blazers, pinstriped suiting, and cinched trousers.
However, the soft feminine elements were also ever-present. The figure-hugging knit dresses exude sensuality, right beside the narrow-waisted peacoats that teasingly fall shortly above the thigh. Though there is lots of structure and high-technique detailing, the collection maintains its feeling of soothingness through the natural fabrics and soft warm-tone color palette.
Adding that final touch to each look were the purposefully selected accessories that are representative of Tod's esteemed heritage. Models carry staple bags such as the geometric T-case purse, the reconstructed Di Bag, and the sophisticated T-Timeless messenger bag. The label's signature Bubble Ballerina shoe gave a playful nod to the popular balletcore aesthetic. Leather-finished moccasins and the W.G. ankle boots also contributed their own level of refinement.
Everything in the collection—from the couture-detailed parkas to the floor-sweeping trench coats—was quintessential Tod's: simple, classic, but oh so exceptionally done.
