Jacquemus brought a surprise runway showcasing their new Spring/Summer 2022 collection in Hawaii. As the models walked a blue-lined runway on a Hawaiian beach, Jacquemus set a balmy tone for the coming warm season.

"The islands of Hawai’i, with their awe-inspiring landscapes, diverse climates, and untold biodiversity, stood out as the perfect complement to the exuberant 'Le Splash' collection," writes Creative Director Simon Porte Jacquemus of the show in an Instagram post.

Whether in a relxaed tailored suit layered over a bikini top or colorful printed sets, the French label brought trendy motifs and seasonal wearability to the shores of O'ahu. Many of the textiles were adapted from pool ready materials, including lifejackets spun into puffer vests and sorrels into leather.

The pieces are in a quintessential summer palette, with neon greens, safari beiges, ocean blues. Inspired by water droplets, glass embellishments created by Canadian artist Tanya Lyons cascaded on the "Le Splash" suits. The collection's accessories comprised of bright mules, signature jewelry pieces and the beloved Chiquito, Sac Rond, and Bambino bags, including the new Le Bomba.

The unexpected show brought even more surprises with notable celebritiy appearances including Blackpink's Jennie, SZA, and Jhené Aiko. Jacquemus has certainly kicked off the anticipated spring and summer season by providing a beachy wardrobe and travel inspiration with "Le Splash."
