Kicking off Milan Fashion Week, Fendi unveiled its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection, a celebration of the brand’s rich heritage as it marks its centennial year. This collection holds a sentimental value, paying tribute to the legacy that began in 1925 when Adele Fendi opened the very first Fendi store.

The spirit of the 1920s is seen throughout the collection in embellishments, fabrics, and silhouettes. Kim Jones, artistic director of couture and womenswear, explained that her inspiration for the collection came from artistic influences of the time, including Art Deco and literary works like F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.

Although the collection includes classics from the 1920s, such as fringe-ended dresses and Art Deco-inspired patterns, Fendi also blends modernity with looser silhouettes, soft suedes, and plush shearlings crafted into cozy evening robes. The essence and sensuality of womanhood are also celebrated throughout the collection, with sheer organza dresses embracing the female form.

The undeniable highlight of the collection was the accessories, especially the bags that appeared with nearly every look. The iconic "Mamma Baguette" stood out, reimagined with a taller, more expansive, and oversized silhouette compared to its original form. Offered in classic, refined hues, the collection also featured a variety of patterned bags, each adorned with playful charms. Fendi, known for its creative approach to bag accessories, continued this tradition—recalling past charm designs like the memorable fortune teller charm to personalize your Fendi bag.
