This past September, Rabbane launched a beauty line in an effort to rebrand after the loss of its legendary founder. The style and packaging were the starting points, incorporating the house's iconic metal mesh.

Diane Kendal, a seasoned pro in the cosmetics field and influential in the creation of the Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs beauty brands, was appointed creative director. She recently went viral for her work making innovative spider lashes for the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2024 show. Now, for Rabanne, her chosen muse for the brand is Australian pop sensation, Troye Sivan.

Beginning as a YouTuber, the 29 year old pop star has grossed over 8 million followers on YouTube and transformed into a global It-boy. His most recent album, "Something to Give Each Other," was a major success thanks to multiple chart-topping singles, one of which, "Rush," earned the artist his first Grammy nomination. The music video's choreography was even mimicked by fellow iI-boy Timothee Chalamet on SNL.

His music video for "One Of Your Girls" most recently shook up the internet as Troy dabbled in drag for the first time, shocking fans and first-time listeners alike. The video, which featured Disney heartthrob Ross Lynch, has gone beyond viral, amassing nearly 33 million views and becoming his most successful YouTube video of all time.

The singer, who wore Rabbane in his "Rush" music video, expressed how meaningful this collaboration feels, saying, "There's something about Rabanne that feels very right, and their approach to fashion and beauty is totally in line with mine."

Sivan's music and fashion have always been deeply rooted in queer culture and street style, and are now being embraced by the high fashion world. As Rabbane's newest Global Makeup Brand Ambassador, Troye will make his debut in the new  "Nudes"  campaign, shot by Louise and Maria Thornfeldt. Rabanne's foray into the beauty space has been described as a high-fashion approach to makeup, combining the brand's signature quality and metallic luminosity.
