Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox never ceases to impress us with her dramatic makeup looks.
Whilst initially known for her debut performance alongside Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems, Julia Fox has been placed in the spotlight for something entirely different this year — her unconventionally dramatic beauty looks. She made her first public appearance with Kanye West last year for Paris Fashion Week and even then, the attention placed on her eye makeup was already undeniably clear.
Although the couple ended things shortly thereafter, Fox’s dedication to bold makeup looks has not ceased. From that point onwards, she became known for the iconic "Fox Eye" look, which features thick streaks of black eyeliner heavily surrounding the eye. Recently, she has even bleached her eyebrows, further adding to her striking appearance. In a room full of people, there is no doubt Julia Fox is the main character: the one who catches your eye, and the one who requires a double take.
The Intense Black Graphic Liner
Julia Fox and Kanye West made one of their first public appearances at the Schiaparelli show at Paris Haute Couture Week in January 2022. During this debut, Fox rocked her classic "Fox eye": black eyeliner that' heavily drawn-on around her eye while also giving her a cat-eye look.

Contrasting this natural base, Fox's eyes are highlighted with skinny, drawn-on brows, white-yet-smoky eyeshadow, and gorgeous, full lashes. Her lips are a dusty, shimmery rose color that accentuates the eye look even further.
The Graphic Black with Eyeshadow
For the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Fox wore a leather black dress with a hand around her neck, pairing it with a human hair-covered handbag. Bold to say the least. Along with this courageous fashion look, Fox did a graphic eye look that was confident in true Julia Fox fashion. With black eye shadow both on the inner part of her eyelid and as a wing, Fox complemented this moment perfectly.

Swapping the black eyeliner for white is unconventional for Fox but also extremely refreshing. This brush-like stroke that curves around her eyelid almost seems as if it's part of a bigger painting. She wears this with black lipstick, in attendance for Glenn Marten's Fall 2022 Diesel show.
