Is Harry Styles Launching a Beauty Line?
The "Watermelon Sugar" singer might be adding makeup mogul to his resume.
He's won a Grammy, toured the world, and starred in critically-acclaimed films—now, it seems Harry Styles is started a beauty company. According to the Twitter fan account @TheHarryNews, documents registered with the UK Company Directory on May 25 list the "Golden" singer as the director of a new makeup and fragrance company named Pleased As Holdings Limited. The paperwork also lists Emma Spring as co-director of the brand. Spring is Styles' longtime assistant and friend who named him godfather to her son Arlo.
Styles is known for his boisterous sense of fashion and gender-fluid style, often provided by his friends at Gucci. He has also appeared in several of the brands' fragrance campaigns. However, this new business venture suggests that he'll be taking his acquired knowledge of luxury perfume and using it to his own advantage.
It's unclear what exactly the former boyband member will be offering with this new cosmetics brand, however, many have noted that Styles could include nail polish to coincide with the colorful manicures that he is known for. Others have suggested that, similar to his gender-bending wardrobe, his cosmetics line will offer unisex products. While we wait to hear from Styles himself, fans are already dying to get their hands on whatever he has to offer.
