Whether its skincare or makeup, the beauty industry has seen a surplus of new brands with huge names attached as founders. Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, and now Serena Williams have all tried their hand in the beauty industry.

The sudden increase in celebrity beauty brands can be attributed to many things. Whether it's always been a hobby or passion of theirs, or they've noticed just how lucrative the beauty industry can be, it's safe to say these celeb beauty brands have changed the game of makeup and how beauty products are advertised and made.

Notable examples of this include Rihanna's Fenty Beauty, which revolutionized the industry with its extensive shade range and inclusive marketing campaigns, Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics, which achieved rapid success through strategic social media marketing and celebrity endorsements, and Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty, which focuses on promoting self-acceptance and mental health awareness through its products and advocacy efforts.

Most recently, Serena Williams, a professional tennis player and champ we've all come to adore and admire, has launched her own makeup brand, Wyn Beauty. The collection debuts with 10 makeup products that target those with an active lifestyle. With the makeup brand being the result of 6 years in the making, her collection will be available exclusively at Ulta on April 7.

While we anticipate the launch of Wyn Beauty, L'OFFICIEL has made a complete guide on all the celebrity beauty brands you need to know about.

Wyn Beauty by Serena Williams

Makeup made to move. Serena Williams' new makeup line features 10 makeup products across the face, lips, and eyes. Highlighted products include a tubing mascara, "Big Vision," lip serum "No Words Needed" in a translucent pink, and "Featuring You," a skin tint with SPF30 to keep your skin protected while out with your tennis racket. Wyn Beauty also highlights its clean products, focusing on high-performing formulas that won't damage the skin.

You can find Wyn Beauty on the brand's website or Ulta.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna

Easily one of the biggest beauty brands of the decade has been Fenty Beauty. Rihanna changed the makeup game, offering a wide range of shades to fit anyone. With a total of 58 shades offered, Rihanna's combination of inclusivity and formula has made her a top competitor in the beauty industry. Some fan favorites include her "Gloss Bomb" which comes in 11 shades and the "Killawatt Highlighter" that'll have you glowing all day.

“Makeup is there for you to play with. It's there for you to have fun. It should never feel like pressure, and it should never feel like a uniform," Rihanna wrote for the brand's website

You can find Fenty Beauty on the brand's website, as well as Sephora and Ulta Beauty locations.

Florence by Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown has spent a lot of time and experience in makeup chairs, and it inspired her to make her own line of products that could make her feel the most confident. Using clean formulas with no parabens or sulfates, this line of makeup products has expanded to skincare as well. Her bestsellers include the "Hydrate With Flo Kit," and the "Glow Yeah Hydrating Lip Oil."

You can find Florence By Mills on the brand's website or at any Ulta Beauty store.

Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner

The world stopped the day Kylie Jenner released her lip kits back in 2015, and the makeup industry hasn't been the same since. As one of the key players in the celebrity beauty brand game, Jenner has continued to release new products for the fans who consider Kylie Cosmetics a holy grail.

With an offshoot brand, Kylie Skin, Jenner offers almost every part of your skincare and makeup routine. From her cleansers to of course, the lips, there's something for everyone at Kylie Cosmetics.

You can find Kylie Cosmetics on the brand's website and Ulta Beauty.

r.e.m. Beauty by Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande's vegan and cruelty-free makeup brand is an ethereal experience of glossy lip balms and blushes. r.e.m. beauty offers you every product to make your makeup look just like Ariana's. Combining makeup products with skincare that targets your under eyes, r.e.m. beauty is another cult classic.

You can find r.e.m. beauty on the brand's website and Ulta Beauty.

Haus Labs by Lady Gaga

It's clear most of the celebrities on this list prioritize a vegan and cruelty-free makeup brand, and Lady Gaga is no different. Haus Labs launched in 2019 with a wide-ranging shade list for the signature "Triclone Skin Tech Foundation." With 51 shades, Gaga embraces creativity and individuality with the makeup line.

Using science, innovation, and experimentation, Haus Labs was born.

You can find Haus Labs on the brand's website and Sephora.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez

Rare Beauty almost instantly became a fan favorite when Selena Gomez launched the brand in 2020. Known for the highly pigmented liquid blush that only requires a small drop, Rare Beauty has made a name for itself with its quality products at a fair price. Rare Beauty also actively supports mental health resources and aims to reduce stigma around mental health.

You can find Rare Beauty on the brand's website and Sephora.

Pleasing by Harry Styles

Selling everything from nail polish to fragrance, it's no surprise that Pleasing is a fan favorite, because so is the founder, Harry Styles. Known for his multicolored nail looks on tour, Styles set up his very own nail polish line in 2021. Styles has opened up Pleasing to offer other products such as fragrances and skincare.

Pleasing also works with organizations that can help us "do better," including environmentally and socially. "Our dream for Pleasing is to help facilitate a better future with and for one another," the brand's website states.

Cécred by Beyoncé

Recently just launched in 2024, Beyoncé brought to life an idea she's had for decades. Prioritizing those with textured hair, she cultivated hair products that will give shine, hydration, and moisture to those with textured hair. With hair oils, scrubs, and the classic shampoo and conditioner, Bey has everything you need to bring your hair back to life.

"I built Cécred from the ground up. I poured into it everything I’ve learned throughout my life so we can borrow some of our past and bring it to the future.," Beyoncé wrote for the brand's website. "Cécred is about prioritizing yourself and all the things you hold sacred."

Rhode by Hailey Bieber

Most famously known for the peptide lip balm (and the new phone case to store it in,) Hailey Bieber's beauty brand Rhode is known for its minimalistic approach to skincare. Bieber is also known for her spin on skincare, labeling a majority of her products a "glaze," even partnering with Krispy Kreme Donuts to sell the idea.

Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore's focus with Flower Beauty was affordability and honesty. 100% cruelty-free, the brand exudes a fun and playful set of colors and hues. With new additions such as a lip serum in 6 colors and a liquid blush in 5 colors, there are endless possibilities with Flower Beauty.

"We're here to have fun! We don't take ourselves too seriously but we're serious about creating kick ass beauty products for you," Barrymore says for the brand's website.
