Broadway has entered a new golden era this summer; here are all the hottest shows and how to get tickets!

Whether you love emotional family dramas or hilarious musical productions, the 2024 Broadway lineup has you covered. The shows feature many big Hollywood names, from Sarah Paulson and Daniel Radcliffe to Rachel McAdams and Jeremy Strong, ensuring maximum star power. While some shows are soon coming to a close (catch Strong and Victoria Pedretti in Enemy of the People ASAP), some are just kicking off a run this summer.

This year's Broadway productions also mark a major high point for inclusivity in the industry with nearly half of the shows led by POC actors. Notably, The Wiz, Hamilton, and & Juliet feature an almost completely POC ensemble!

Hadestown

Based on the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, this musical love story is perfect for the new theatergoer and aficionado alike. Jordan Fisher(Teen Beach Movie) has recently joined the cast in the leading role, and reviews have already been raving about his performance. A true testimant to the power of faith and love this heartwrenching tale is a must see.

The Wiz

A bold new entry into the Wizard of Oz universe, this Broadway show features all the iconic musical numbers theater fans obsess over. From "Home" to "Ease on Down the Road," the Tony-winning soundtrack by Charlie Smalls never fails to amaze. The show features theater veterans Deborah Cox and Wayne Brady as well as Megan Thee Stallion's personal choreographer, JaQuel Knight.

For more of a thrilling, suspenseful night, Job directed by Michael Herwitz provides an interesting dialogue on what we give up for work. The show features Peter Friedman(Succession) as a questionably reliable therapist and Sydney Lemmon as his jaded client. The show is a limited-time production, leaving theaters in September, so go grab tickets while they're available, you will not want to miss this genius thriller.

This Tony-nominated hit features dazzling performances by Sarah Paulson(American Horror Story) and Elle Fanning(Maleficent) that demand to be seen. Following an estranged family who reunites at their childhood home, Appropriate begins a dialogue on interacting with racism and trauma, all while trying to raise a family. The production has received widespread acclaim and is only running until the end of June making it a priority watch for any theater junky. This is a must-see Summer 2024 Broadway show.

The Notebook

This complex drama, a new theatrical take on the classic chic flick, has garnered three Tony nominations. Dorian Harewood and Maryann Plunkett star in this goosebump-inducing piece that has audiences crying every night. Witnessing this emotionally eviscerating new addition to the 2024 Broadway production lineup is simply a must.
