Highlighted as an artist in the 2024 Frieze Focus programming, Haitian-born photographer Widline Cadet explores her relationship with the city of Los Angeles in a solo exhibition with the  Nazarian/Curcio gallery. The installation centers around themes of memory, belonging, and family, all of which are examined through intimate self-portrait shots, pieces that feature family members, and still-life and landscapes that are reminiscent of Haiti, featuring prominent botanical and architectural details, as it exists in the mind of Cadet. Through this exhibition, Cadet reconciles her memories of her home and childhood with those of adulthood and artistry in Los Angeles, resulting in a collection of pieces that exist in a completely new mental and visual space, located somewhere between the two geographic locations and conceptions of home.

In collaboration with the Andy Warhol Museum, Christie's Los Angeles space hosts an exhibition of eight rarely-seen short films, known as "Screen Tests," created by Andy Warhol. Featured in the films are famous musicians, models, and artistsincluding Edie Sedgwick, Lou Reed, Jane Holzer, and Dennis Hopper, alongside others. Among his most famous works, the "Screen Tests" feature subjects silently stepping into view and staring into the lens for several moments, before the screen goes dark, showing well-known cultural figures in a manner in which they were rarely seen by the public. These seemingly simple, but timelessly relevant cultural moments served as inspiration for Warhol throughout his artistic career, and through their public exhibition, a new generation gains access to the wealth of knowledge present in these cultural artifacts

If you're in search of an interactive way to engage with art while simultaneously drawing out your inner child, look no further than Luna Luna. This art-themed amusement park, backed financially by Drake, made headlines several months ago after its long-awaited revival. Featuring rides and games created by esteemed artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, David Hockney, and Salvador Dalí, Luna Luna first opened to the public in the late '80s in Germany and became an instant attraction, prompting investors and organizers to show the installations around the world. Due to budget issues and an ill-timed shift in personnel, the amusement park and the artworks it contained were deposited in a Texas storage unit, where it stayed, forgotten for decades, until its revival this past year.  Prospective visitors can learn more about the history behind Luna Luna and purchase tickets online
