Gisele Bündchen's Returns to Nature with Family Camping Trip
Gisele Bündchen knows how to use her influence to defend causes close to her heart—especially when it comes to the environment. The supermodel has a special affinity for nature, and insists on passing that on to her children. For her 40th birthday, for instance, Bündchen planted 40,000 trees.
More recently, though, the muse to Alexander McQueen returned from a camping trip with her family in which they stayed in an open field. Posted on her Instagram the images are joined by a caption that wrote: "Everything that is happening in our lives is happening for us, it serves a purpose. Trust the process, even the challenges, delays & detours are here to help us grow and expand."
She also wrote about a recent study taken in the UK that concluded that 20,000 of its participants who spent at least two hours a week in the middle of nature showed improvements in health and well-being.
