The first collaboration between AccorHotels, the world leader in the field of travel and lifestyle, and Nakheel, which is one of the leading property developers in Dubai, PALM360 illustrates the desire of both partners to succeed in an exceptional project. "We can only work well together if we appreciate each other" says Sébastien Bazin. "This is the basis of our collaboration." Ali Rashid Lootah said that he chose AccorHotels and the Raffles brand, "Because they are fully dedicated to offering their guests the best hospitality. I am convinced that this luxury brand will be our best partner for such a project."

The hotel, which will have a Raffles name, will offer 125 rooms and suites while the 359 high-end residences will be offered for sale. Among them, 16 penthouses in the colors of the sign, each with an infinity pool, a gym and a cinema. Privileged residents can enjoy the services of Raffles (meals, concierge, drivers, you name it) and will be granted VVIP status worldwide through an exclusive benefits program.

In keeping with the Raffles spirit, the hotel and the residential complex will be home to a range of fine restaurants with a wide variety of culinary delights. Two will be nestled on the roof to offer the most majestic panoramas and one at the edge of the water, between beach and pool.

While his group plays a leading role in the development of Dubai, Mr. Ali Rashid Lootah welcomed the signing of this agreement stating, "We intend to play a key role in achieving the vision of the Government of Dubai by continuing to realize unique and remarkable projects. These will reinforce Dubai's role as an international destination to live, work, play, or visit. Noting that Palm Jumeirah has quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after addresses in the world, he believes that the PALM360 complex will further enhance the international appeal of this island that already hosts millions of visitors each year. "We are delighted to partner with AccorHotels for this exciting project that will strengthen our already growing portfolio of hotels and become the most popular luxury destination for discerning travelers around the world," he adds.

Luxury Raffles

In Dubai, the Nakheel Group is pursuing a hotel development program that includes 16 establishments that will ultimately offer nearly 6,000 rooms. The first two hotels opened last year at Dragon Mart and Ibn Battuta Mall, while others are under construction or in the development phase.

The Raffles Palm Dubai and the Raffles PALM360 residences will join the other 11 Raffles Hotels & Resorts brands around the world. After Raffles Seychelles, it will be the second Raffles beach resort.

"This project in association with Nakheel marks the beginning of the long-awaited expansion of one of our most prestigious luxury brands in the world," says Sébastien Bazin. While welcoming the excellent partnership relationship with Ali Rashid Lootah, the CEO of AccorHotels adds, "The construction of this magnificent complex will not only consolidate our portfolio of luxury brands on one of the largest tourist destinations in the world, but demonstrates also our commitment to developing the most distinctive hospitality concepts."

Why did they choose Raffles for this project? "Because it is synonymous with quality, legendary service combined with an enchanting setting and the best equipment" answers Sébastien Bazin. He continues, "These qualities have sealed the success of the Raffles brand since Raffles Dubai is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year as Raffles Singapore reopens this summer after a major renovation to celebrate its 130th anniversary. He is convinced that, inspired by this essence and timeless history, Raffles The Palm Dubai will be one of the ten most beautiful hotels in the world. We'll have to wait four years to see if he's right, but our bet is that he is.
