The Jane is as comfortable as it is decadent with its plush velvet couches, soft Persian rugs, and dimly lit Edwardian chandeliers, while the DJ&rsquo;s carefully chosen beats will have you nodding your head as you easily converse with the person next to you. The Rose Bar, 2 Lexington Avenue

Music-lovers, this one&rsquo;s for you. On most nights, this stylish Gramercy Park bar hosts intimate performances from guest artists and world-renowned DJ&rsquo;s&mdash;the sounds of which you can enjoy from your perch on the 25-foot-long velvet tufted banquette. Despite its soaring ceilings, dramatic Douglas fir columns, and an almost intimidating rotation of 20th-century master artworks, this bar, you will find, is still the perfect place to take a deep (albeit stylish) breath. A flurry of white gloves, live jazz, and pristinely uniformed staff, The Pierre is for a discerning patron. This space is a refreshing change from the millennial-ridden streets of NYFW and is a perfect place to experience the suave glamour that New York City is known for. Don&rsquo;t be surprised if you find yourself rubbing shoulders with royalty and industry titans in this chic, Art Deco lounge. And if you&rsquo;re feeling peckish, the small bites match perfectly with the Peroni in your hand. &ldquo;Only the best for the best&rdquo; is the motto here.

DUMBO HOUSE 

Dumbo House, 55 Water Street

Soho House&rsquo;s trendy younger sibling, Dumbo House, is what happens when an exclusive adult playhouse is brought across the bridge to oh-so-cool Brooklyn. Dumbo House is brand-spanking-new and the company has pulled out all the stops for every detail, from the Italian beer selection to the urban chic d&eacute;cor to the DJs. As in Soho, the main feature of this bar has to be its unparalleled terrace views of the East River and Statue of Liberty. But for those who are more interested in what&rsquo;s happening indoors, Dumbo House is a great place to enjoy drinks and the latest tunes alongside fashion&rsquo;s biggest names.

Public Hotel, 215 Chrystie Street

Like all of Ian Schrager&rsquo;s creations, Public and its clientele can be described in three words: stylish, sophisticated, and sexy. Check out the jaw-dropping panoramic view from the rooftop bar, lounge on plush sofas in the dimly lit Diego bar, or catch an avant-garde multimedia performance at the Public Arts space&mdash;the choice is yours. However, if you&rsquo;re looking for a quiet, antisocial, NYFW-free night to cradle your whiskey in peace, then this isn&rsquo;t the place for you. With Public&rsquo;s communal setup, delicious selection of brews, and I-can&rsquo;t-stop-myself-from-dancing music, you will definitely be leaving with new friends.
