The Martinez Hotel Inaugurates Its Summer Guinguette Evenings
A true homage to the extravagant and care-free Mediterranean lifestyle that characterized the beginning of the last century, the already-cult Ginguette evenings take place every Friday in The Martinez's gardens—the nerve center of the hotel that was recently re-designed by the architect Pierre-Yves Rochon.
These intimate evenings are worthy of the great Gatsby himself with the canotier hats and neck-scarves, rows of collectors' cars gleaming in the twinkling lights, a seemingly endless cocktail selection honoring French delicacies both old and new (including an absinthe fountain), succulent dishes prepared in front of the guests and a lively jazz atmosphere courtesy of the talented orchestra Hot Sugar Band.
La Guingette du Martinez takes place every Friday evening at 8.00 pm.
