French Stars Lala &ce & Le Diouck Celebrate Music and Luxury with Moët & Chandon
French musicians Lala &ce and Le Diouck sit down with L’OFFICIEL to discuss the energy and excitement that comes with the holiday season—and a glass of the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé Collection 1985.
Uniting creatives who embody Parisian originality under one roof for an evening celebrating the ever-luxurious Moët & Chandon and 100 years of L'OFFICIEL, French rappers Lala &ce and Le Diouck bring their own version of modern sophistication to the conversation of holiday fashion and champagne.
Like the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé Collection 1985 they sip on, the artists are well-versed in the art of setting the mood. Their music, sensual and rhythmic, speaks for itself while the artists recline with bubbly in hand. Trippy beats and contemporary rap define the tracks produced by Lala &ce and Le Diouck. Here, they give L'OFFICIEL their takes on drinks and dressing up.
L’OFFICIEL: Is this the first time you've come to Château Moët & Chandon?
Le Diouck: Yes, this is the first time.
L’O: What did you feel when you arrived?
Lala &ce: We were playing music really loud, so we weren't really paying attention, but at the end I actually saw the vineyards and it was very beautiful.
LD: Yeah, very beautiful.
L’O: What is your favorite place or occasion to drink champagne?
L&: Positano.
LD: We drank a lot of champagne last summer; it was amazing.
L&: Yeah, we had a really good champagne there.
L’O: Do you prefer drinking champagne from a coupe or a flute?
LD: The bottle [laughs].
L’O: What are you toasting to this holiday season?
L&: The feeling of renewal.
LD: We are grateful for all the things that have happened in our lives. We are so happy.
L’O: What are your New Year’s resolutions?
LD: No more alcohol [laughs]. I am joking—but to be more focused on our projects and surrounded by people who share our mindset.
L&: Yeah, to pay attention to people and my surroundings.
L’O: Do you have a go-to holiday movie or a song?
L&: Yeah, "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carrey is a classic.
LD: For me, Chuck Berry. I also saw a movie last week, llusions Perdues ["Lost Illusions"], based on the book by Balsak. It is about a young poet, and it was amazing.
L’O: Do you dress up or do you stay in your pajamas for New Years Eve?
LD: Both.
L&: I am ready to party all night—I dress up for party time. I think you have to look good.
