Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady Make the Move to Miami
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are building an eco-conscious mansion in one of Miami's most exclusive areas.
Many changes are in store for Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady's family. The model, despite still working, said goodbye to the catwalks in 2015 and, more recently, Brady has officially retired as an NFL player. In 2019, the couple decided to put their mansion in Boston for sale for $32.5 million. But where is the family headed next?
Sources close to the couple say that they have already bought land on Indian Creek Island, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Miami, Florida. Access to the site is only permitted through a bridge guarded 24/7, with the surrounding waters and skies monitored by police at all times.
In total, there are 34 properties spread across the island. Among their new neighbors, the duo can count Jeffrey Soffer of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and, up until quite recently, Adriana Lima. The long list of wealthy residents is how the neighborhood got the nickname Billionaire Bunker.
According to Architectural Digest, the couple reportedly bought a 5,772-square-foot plot of land for $17 million on Biscayne Bay with views of the Miami skyline, and are now building an eco-friendly mansion in place of the original house.
