Returning to the heart of Beverly Hills, Frieze Los Angeles is taking over the city once again. From February 17-22, art, culture, and music is bringing the city to life. Whether it's with movie showings, gallery openings, or DJ sets, Freize L.A. is providing perfect settings for your Los Angeles outings. For more information on some of the best events, L'OFFICIEL has rounded up a list of stops to put on your schedule.

Frieze Week at Neuehouse

The Hollywood and Bradbury locations of Neuehouse hosts special events every year for Frieze Week. Known as a place for creators, innovators, and thought leaders to come together, Neuehouse hosts a variety of different events in tandem with the Frieze L.A. art festival. For this year's event, the social spaces have organized 23 different events that are going to take place throughout the week of festivities.

The "ART&" events of Frieze Week cover a wide range of topics from love to the mindfulness movement to NFTs and Cryptocurrency to film, architecture, and sustainability. Selected guests come to host each event, and talk about a specific topic, share music, or show a film. 

For this year's Frieze Week, speakers such as Xin Liu, Susie Ferrell, Professor Magnus Resch, Azikiwe Mohammed, Michon Sanders, and Essence Harden are all going to be hosting events for anyone to attend.

Prada Mode Los Angeles

In honor of Frieze L.A., Prada debuts Prada Mode Los Angeles, the seventh edition of Prada Mode, the brand's traveling culturally-tuned social club. The immersive experience located at Genghis Cohen features an array of art, music, and dining options for visitors to enjoy alongside a healthy dose of stimulating conversation. Artist Martine Syms has transformed the restaurant into her own installation titled, "HelLA World.”

Tales from an Urban Garden

Dries Van Noten Los Angeles and Jeffrey Deitch host British artist Raqib Shaw for his first L.A. installation at The Little House. Inspired by his grandmother's garden in Kashmir, Shaw recreates the botanical wonder of his own London studio garden in a whimsical installation that belays the personal and the universal gravity of nature.

Daises x Basic.Space

After a successful run at last year's Miami Art Basel (so successful, in fact, that Julia Fox and Evan Mock were turned away due to capacity), curator Paige Silveria has partnered with Basic.Space on Daises' final collaborative series. The Daises Group Show features VR video from Alex Headlam as well as wall pieces from artists Alli Gelles, Chad Moore, Danni Miller, Emma Pryde, Ganna Bogdan, Jasmine Monsegue, Sandy Kim, Sara Rabin, and Taj Francois. Those interested in seeing the exhibition can attend the opening reception by invite only on February 18 or by appointment on February 22.

Jillian Mayer x Bisquit & Dubouché

Campari Group's cognac brand Bisquit & Dubouché is debuting an exciting collaboration with artist Jillian Mayer in an art gallery called "The Glass Room."

In this immersive exhibit, visitors quite literally enter a glass room made of warm amber hues in the likeness of the Bisquit & Dubouché signature liquid. This exclusive glass installation expresses the artistic sensibilities of the Bisquit & Dubouché brand, as well as Mayer's avant-garde vision in design.

Roberts Projects Art Gallery

Betye Saar, L.A. Energy, 1983

Roberts Projects gallery has commissioned a new project for Frieze L.A. including artworks and mixed media pieces by Alexandre Diop, Kehinde Wiley, among other artists. The gallery is also debuting a recreation of Betye Saar's 1983 mural "L.A. Energy." The project is all in all an ode to L.A. arts and culture.

The Future Perfect Gallery

The Future Perfect's Beverly Hills Outpost

The Future Perfect is a Brooklyn born, NYC and L.A. based art collective. The gallery will show a new exhibition adjacent to Frieze L.A. from a variety of multimedia artists, including Bradley L. Bowers, Reinaldo Sanguino, Chen Chen & Kai Williams, and Olivia Cognet. 

Where: The Future Perfect's new Beverly Hills Outpost, neighboring Frieze L.A.
