On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Dior Maison reveals 14 exclusive creations from Dimore Studio—founded in Milan in 2003 by the Italian-American duo Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran. An architecture and interior design studio specializing in furniture, lighting and textiles design, Dimore Studio has imagined for Dior Maison, a collection of objects for the home.
Starting from the Napoleon III style chairs, which decorated Dior's atelier during the Maison's fashion shows, Dimore studio has created an exclusive collection in which gold, silver, and bronze meet plexiglass and the natural fabric of rattan that celebrates cannage.
These objects, real works of art with sober lines, evoke, with their names and forms, surrealism and cubism, artistic movements dear to Christian Dior, gallerist and collector, friend and admirer of the greatest artists of the twentieth century, like Picasso, Dalí and Magritte.
