Coco Chanel's iconic apartment has undergone a historic restoration by French designer Jacques Grange. Fifty years after the death of its owner, the property has reopened and offers the elegance and classicism of its namesake in an environment that perfectly translates the refined atmosphere that still guides the maison. Located on the second floor of Rue Cambon 31, Chanel's apartment is defined by an elegant color palette, an enviable collection of books, as well as furniture and objects from different parts of the world such.

"Faithful to the spirit of Gabrielle Chanel, the decorator was inspired by the various archival images taken in the apartment—notably those of Robert Doisneau in 1953 —in his restoration of this extraordinary Baroque jewel inserted in the window of an eternally modern haute couture house," the French brand revealed to WWD.
