The college student-slash-designer celebrated her new Connecticut-inspired capsule with a dreamy lunch at fashion-favorite hotspot La Mercerie.

Talita von Furstenberg is officially calling New York home. The young student&mdash;currently at New York University, after two years at Georgetown&mdash;was holed up at fashion-favorite hotspot La Mercerie yesterday afternoon, one of many chic young women wearing flirty pastel and floral print dresses. Just about everyone in the dreamy downtown space donned TVF for <a href="https://www.dvf.com/">DVF</a>, von Furstenberg&rsquo;s latest capsule collection with none other than her grandmother, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/diane-von-furstenberg-x-ashley-longshore">Diane</a>. Even von Furstenberg&rsquo;s boyfriend, Rocco de Brabant Brignone, was there&nbsp;to support, wearing his own version of a TVF sage green print in the form of a pocket square.

This is the younger von Furstenberg&rsquo;s second collaboration with her grandmother, a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/summer-fall-transition-fashion-2019">fall </a>capsule featuring 19&nbsp;floaty and romantic pieces inspired by time spent in Connecticut countryside with family. Created specifically with her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/the-10-hotels-millennial-travelers-will-love-in-2019">millennial</a> friends in mind, who are balancing <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/schoolgirl-braids-hair-trend-spring-2020">school</a>, meetings, and evenings out, each piece is equal parts easy-to-wear and playful.

As the crowd of<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/irina-shayk-falconeri-interview-2019"> models</a>, family, and friends sat down for lunch, one eagle-eyed guest noticed the napkins on each plate were created from the same butterfly fabric as one of von Furstenberg&rsquo;s pretty frocks. &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t get those napkins dirty,&rdquo; joked Brianna Lance. &ldquo;I want them for my home!&rdquo; the young fashion talent added.
