Dior Threw One Hell of a Party at the Guggenheim
ICYMI, the Guggenheim Gala is one of the Big Apple’s most prestigious events and has for several years been supported by the iconic French fashion house of Dior. Thus, some of the world’s most recognizable faces braved their way through the weather to the Guggenheim museum’s beautiful rotunda, located on the Upper East Side of the island. This year, the spotlight was on the generosity of the Edmond de Rothschild foundations as well as philanthropists, Dimitris Daskalopoulos and Alice Walton.
Among the guests were artist-cum-wellness guru Gwyneth Paltrow, actress Zosia Mamet (The Boy Downstairs, Girls), filmmaker-cum-model Adesuwa Aighewi, angels Winnie Harlow, Duckie Thot and of course the ever-radiant (in character and looks) Karlie Kloss who, donning an exquisitely pale dress from Dior Fall 2018, was accompanied by brand new groom Joshua Kushner. Indeed, Kloss was not the only one to sport Dior for this event with several of the Maison’s most beautiful pieces being worn by a plethora of attendees. To immortalize an already iconic event, the museum was graced with the presence of none other than Jorja Smith who performed a gig for the pre-gala party.
