Although he's emerged as an It man of the moment and an in-demand Hollywood actor in 2024, Nico Hiraga is not your typical Los Angeles movie star. First and foremost, he's a skateboarder. Hiraga, a San Francisco native, has enchanted fans of Moxie and The Power and built a steady following on social media thanks to his easygoing personality, alluring charisma, infectious sense of humor, and charming good looks.

One of the most refreshing things about Hiraga is that while he has respectively established himself in the name of fame, there's a sense of normalcy he puts out that makes him too easy to resonate with. While most Instagram accounts of young talent will be back-to-back posts of red carpet looks, sponsored content, or industry events, Hiraga's looks like that of the everyday person. Skateboarding videos, photo dumps, and random selfies run rampant on his account with the occasional post of his latest interviews sprinkled in—though even those posts blend in well.

Chances are, if you take a few swipes through his social media feed or interview clips, you'll quickly discover the charming personality and effortless sense of humor that has the Internet, Hollywood, and the fashion industry obsessed with Nico Hiraga.

Beyond his incredible charisma and skills at the skate park, Hiraga has also gained approval among fashion lovers due to his distinct, well-put-together style. Like the uniform of most skater boys, you'll often catch Hiraga decked out in cargo pants, baggy jeans, graphic tees, simple jewelry, and lots of snapbacks. It may sound basic, but trust us, he makes it work. Recently, Hiraga has taken to sporting patterned button-down shirts, which he typically wears completely open, much to the delight of his fans, and has since become synonymous with the style. While Hiraga is regarded for his laidback, California-cool street style, the actor has also become a frequent presence at high-profile fashion events for trendy luxury brands like Acne Studios, Kenzo, and Prada, proving he can serve looks whether he's on the red carpet or the halfpipe.

Of course, on top of everything else, he's got the look. With tousled dark hair, a mesmerizing smile, and effortless skater-boy swag, there's no doubt that Hiraga would have made the ultimate best friend/love interest in a '90s teen rom-com. A quick search of Hiraga's name in the TikTok hashtags and you'll see that users have reached a clear consensus on their love for the North Hollywood star, with countless videos of fan edits, interview clips, and professions of love for the actor flooding the app.

Good-natured and humble as ever, Hiraga talked about his rise to stardom in a 2022 interview with V Magazine, where he said: “I just want to be remembered as a dude from SF that showed you can have fun doing your craft." With good looks, a charismatic personality, skateboarding skills aplenty, and a filmography full of fun coming-of-age flicks, it's no secret why the Internet is obsessed with Nico Hiraga, and as the actor continues to expand his influence in the future, we're guessing this is just the beginning.
