If the name "Hawke" sounds familiar, you're not the only one. Levon is the brother of Stranger Thing's Maya Hawke. Their parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, met on the set of the film Gattaca (1997) and were soon married and welcomed their daughter in 1998. Levon was then born in 2002, but the parents split in 2003. The family, however, remains tight-knit and supportive of one another, often posting each other's successes on social media.
He made his acting debut in a short film.
Though he is proceeded by Hollywood legends, Levon Hawke did not make his acting debut until 2018 in the short film, Blackout. Directed by Sam Nivola, this film tells the story of Hawke's character, Jacob Harris, who unknowingly commits several crimes. Before this, Hawke appeared as himself on Celebrities Uncensored in 2003.

This year's Cannes Film Festival was Hawke's first event in some time, but the actor has joined his mom on several other occasions. In 2017, he also accompanied her to the same iconic French film festival. He even made his fashion show debut, attending the Dior Spring/Summer 2020 with Thurman.

Hawke's newest project is Apple TV+'s The Crowded Room. Starring Tom Holland, Levon Hawke will portray Jonny in the miniseries adapted based on the 1981 novel. The show follows a young man, Danny Sullivan (Holland), who is a reclusive teen and is arrested after a shooting at the Rockefeller Center in 1979.
