After making a rare red carpet appearance alongside her grandmother, the 21-year-old has captured the attention of the Internet&nbsp;

When you think <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/nepo-baby-celebrity-response-nepotism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nepo Baby</a>, chances are celebrities like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lily-rose-depp-biker-shorts-and-chanel-sling-back-combo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lily-Rose Depp</a>, Dakota Johnson, and Jack Quaid come to mind, but after Viva Vadim joined her grandmother, Jane Fonda, on the red carpet recently, the Internet is speculating that a new wave of Nepo Babies has emerged.
Unlike many others who have been branded as Nepo Babies, Vadim did not grow up in a Beverly Hills mansion or a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/history-of-new-york-high-society-socialites-astor-vanderbilt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City</a>&nbsp;penthouse, but instead was raised on a farm in Vermont by her parents Vanessa Vadim and Matt Arnett, a musician. Vanessa is the only daughter of Fonda and her first husband, famed French filmmaker <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/style-brigitte-bardot-marilyn-monroe-french-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roger Vadim</a>, and has spent much of her life as a filmmaker and activist.&nbsp;

Vadim did not grow up in the spotlight, but rather spent her childhood outdoors in Vermont, seemingly living as normal a life as one could while simultaneously belonging to one of the most star-studded families in the industry. While Vadim isn't typically photographed at buzzy Hollywood <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/celebrities-at-tiffany-and-co-la-star-studded-event-suki-waterhouse-reese-witherspoon-daughter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">parties</a> or spotted at hot NYC nightclubs, she does boast an impressive jet-set lifestyle, which is documented on her social media and <a href="https://www.vivavadim.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a>.
First and foremost, the 21-year-old is an activist and artist, with an interest in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/quil-lemons-explores-new-photography-series-quiladelphia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photography</a> and textiles that is evident based on her feed. Showcasing a website with no biography section and an Instagram page with few details of her personal life, Vadim prefers to let her work speak for itself. In an age of chronic online oversharing, many Internet users have found Vadim's persona and commitment to her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/most-expensive-art" target="_blank" rel="noopener">art</a> refreshing.

With an eclectic, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/vintage-jean-shorts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vintage</a>-inspired style seen in the rare selfie or mirror photo posted by Vadim, the artist clearly has that <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/vintage-outfits-thrift-stores-nyc-model-shopping-guide-bella-hadid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">It girl</a> factor many of her Nepo Baby contemporaries also possess, but concentrates her energy elsewhere, prompting the question, is the era of the over-the-top, luxuriant Nepo Baby coming to an end?
