There's nothing more romantic than a wedding. A time for two people in love to come together marking the beginning of an (ideally) lifelong journey. But for Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham, the couple has already reached unpleasant roads. Months after their fairytale wedding, the couple is going through a lawsuit with against one of the three wedding planners they hired.

Maybe you're already caught up on the Peltz-Beckham wedding planner drama, but in case you're not, L'OFFICIEL has compiled a complete timeline of everything you need to know.

The couple started the planning process with Preston Bailey, a celebrity wedding planner who's worked with clients such as Mariah Carey and Oprah WinfreyHowever, Bailey resigned 11 months later because he was "overcommitted" and "couldn’t deliver to the quality I was used to," as explained to Page Six. While Bailey did walk away, he did affirm that there was no animosity and was a delight to work with the couple: "I have the best to say about the Peltzes and Nicola. There wasn't any bad blood."

With six weeks until the wedding, the couple hired Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events. However, the planners were fired a mere nine days later for allegations of not being able to control the guest list. Peltz and Beckham then hired Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations as their third and final planner, with the event around a month away.

Months after the grand wedding, Nelson Peltz, Nicola's father, filed a lawsuit against Braghin and Grijalba. As stated by the lawsuit files leaked to US Weekly, the suit is due to accusations of the women exaggerating their abilities "regarding their experience, expertise, and capability of planning the wedding" and that they allegedly didn't refund Nelson's $159,000 deposit.

To further support their claims, the Peltz family has leaked texts between themselves and the planners. The screenshots reveal some tension and frustrations between the two parties over a miscommunication about the guest list and lack of control over the RSVP system. In one of the images, Nicola allegedly sent a message in a group text with the planners, writing, "Lewis Hamilton did NOT RSVP. So explain why his names on the list please.”

Also in the filed lawsuit, other claims include common "references to alcohol use and possible abuse" and that Braghin and Grijalba did not work in an efficient manner, with hardly any action happening: "During their nine days of negotiations... [they] failed to book a single new wedding vendor, failed to finalize the terms of any agreements with any of the vendors that had previously been selected by Peltz and his family, and failed to attend previously scheduled meetings with Peltz."

Braghin and Grijalba have responded to the lawsuit by filing a countersuit. They claim that the Peltz family breached their contract and called Nelson a "billionaire bully." According to documents acquired by People, "It is believed that Nelson Peltz paid more than $100,000 plus travel expenses for Nicola's hair and makeup services for the wedding. [Claudia Heffner, Nicola's mother] mentioned to [one of the planners] that Nelson could not know the cost of the hair and makeup, or he would 'kill her, and be so mad.'"

The wedding planners also claimed that the Peltz family kept making changes to the guest list, making Braghin and Grijalba's job difficult to finalize the RSVP list. In the lawsuit, it's stated, "Both Claudia and Nicola had insisted that Victoria Beckham (Brooklyn's mother) could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son's wedding, including any errors with the guest list."

One of the alleged big changes was that Nicola was adamant about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis not being allowed to attend, with Nelson arguing against that request. In one of the text allegedly sent to Braghin and Grijalba, Nicola wrote, “Desantis must be OFF THE GUEST LIST. PLEASE CONFIRM!”

Braghin and Grijalba also revealed an alleged phone conversation between Nelson and Grijalba, in which Nelson asked if she was crying. According to Page Six, the conversation went as follows:

Nelson: "Are you crying Arianna, Are you crying?"

Grijalba:  "No, what are you talking about?"

Nelson: "I blocked all your emails. Do you think that was funny?"

Grijalba: "Mr. Peltz, I don’t know why would you block our emails, we are sending all our work for your daughter’s wedding as per your request."

Nelson again asks: "Are you crying?" When she says no, he says, "Sooooo."

Grijalba: "Mr. Peltz, you are the one who called me, is there anything else you want to tell me?"

Nelson: "I don’t know why I called you," and then hangs up.

As for Brooklyn, he was kept out of most of the planning. According to the lawsuit, when the planners asked for his thoughts on a subject something, Nicola allegedly texted them, “I do not trust Brooklyn with this. U should be asking an assistant. He has no idea. And is guessing.”

No settlements have been made, however, a source told Closer that Nelson would like to have a wedding redo: "There has been talk of having a new wedding ceremony for their first anniversary. [Nicola] wants to redo the original day with a new dress, new pictures, and a new event – and despite the raised eyebrows, she wants an even more lavish do."

The lawsuit drama comes to an end as the couple has reportedly settled according to People.

“The parties believe that this contract dispute between Nelson Peltz and Plan Design should be resolved on the terms agreed. As part of the settlement, PDE will make a donation in the name of Nicola and Brooklyn to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund. PDE wishes Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham happiness and a fruitful life together," reads the statement of the involved parties.

According to People, "both the initial and counterclaims have been dismissed with prejudice."
