After a hiatus from Instagram, Nicki Minaj is back. Teasing fans with a nude photo in which she covers herself with pink heart-shaped pillows and wears nothing but silver jewelry and Chanel-embellished Crocs, the rapper alluded to new music, captioning the post: "Friday."

Minaj is the latest celebrity to cause a fuss over Crocs. While the "Super Bass" rapper embraced the anti-fashion shoe and gave them a luxury upgrade with bedazzled Jibbitz and the Chanel logo, others have sworn off the comfortable clogs altogether. Last week, Victoria Beckham said she'd "rather die" than wear a pair of Crocs pop star Justin Bieber had gifted her.

But it seems that everyone else loves Crocs as much as Minaj. After she posted on Instagram on Monday, the company reportedly saw a 4,900 percent increase in sales of hot pink Crocs.

Besides several guest appearances on tracks like A$AP Ferg's "Move Ya Hips," Minaj's most recent release was 2020's "Yikes" and her last studio album was 2018's Queen. It's safe to say that whatever project the rapper has in the works, her fans are eager to hear it.
