Meadow Walker Shares a Peek of Her Intimate Wedding
Meadow Walker, daughter of Paul Walker, just got married to actor Louis Thornton-Allan.
After announcing their engagement only two months ago, Meadow Walker and Louis Thornton-Allan tied the knot. The pair hosted an intimate ceremony in the Dominican Republic earlier this month.
Walker and Thornton-Allen spent quarantine together in London. Though spending so much time pent up together had the opposite effect for many couples, it only solidified their desire to make a more significant commitment.
"He couldn’t wait for the ring we had been thinking of designing and proposed with a ring I had been given on set that day," walker told Vogue. "It was so sentimental and sweet. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”
The wedding was a small affair put together by Walker's aunt, Paloma. Though many guests weren't able to attend due to travel restrictions, including Thornton-Allen's family, a just-shared video shows the couple enjoying their special night. One guest definitely in attendance was Vin Diesel, Fast & Furious co-star of Paul Walker, Meadow's father.
The bride wore a custom Givenchy Haute Couture dress designed by her friend Matthew Williams, creative director of the fashion house. Another more laidback dress was also designed for a party in New York City following the ceremony.
"I wanted to really let her personality shine through with the simplest, most modern of bridal gowns in silk cady, with a pure hourglass shape; a halter neck; and an edgy, backless design anchored by a simple strap. We kept the train minimalistic. And the veil was so ethereal, it was barely there, which kept the focus on her beautiful eyes; face; and natural, statuesque glamour," said Williams.
