Lily Collins' Wedding Rings Stolen at Hotel
Reportedly over $10,000 worth of precious items were taken.
While enjoying a relaxing weekend at a hotel spa in West Hollywood, Lily Collins' experience turned for the worse as she found herself in a robbery. The actress returned to her hotel room and found her engagement ring, wedding band, and other items missing — reporting to the police that over $10,000 worth of precious items were taken.
The Los Angeles police department has already begun their investigation as cops review the hotel's security footage for any further information on who the thief may be. Based on their initial findings, the police told Page Six there seemed to be no sign of forced entry.
In 2020, the Emily in Paris star got engaged to director Charlie McDowell. He popped the question with a custom-designed ring by him and jeweler Irene Neuwirth, featuring a rose-cut diamond and gold band.
"Thank you for making the most beautiful ring I've ever seen,” McDowell posted on Instagram thanking Neuwirth. Collins showed her own appreciation, posting "Thank you from the bottom of my heart SO much for the most stunning, perfect ring. It's breathtaking."
"I've been waiting my lifetime for you and I can't wait to spend our lifetime together," Collins posted on Instagram after the proposal.
The following year, Collins and McDowell got married and had a fairytale wedding ceremony in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado.
As for the robbery, the police are still undergoing their investigation as no arrests have been made.
