Are Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods Friends Again?

It's been four years since the infamous Tristan Thompson cheating scandal that broke up the relationship between former best friends Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods, and now, the two may be on a new path of rekindling their friendship. On July 15, Jenner and Woods were spotted in Los Angeles having dinner together at a sushi restaurant. 

The two were dressed nicely as Jenner wore a one-shoulder black and white tank with black trousers while Woods opted for a long figure-hugging orange dress and gold choker. Walking side by side to and from the restaurant and leaving together in the same car, Jenner and Woods seemed to be in good spirits. This then leaves the question: are Jenner and Woods friends again?

From what we can tell, it sure seems so.

Considering this is their first meetup since the fallout, only time will tell if the two are becoming as close as they once were.

The fallout in question happened in early 2019 when Woods was accused of hooking up with Thompson — who is Khloé Kardashian's ex and father of two kids — at a party. In March 2019, Woods later confessed during a Red Table Talk appearance with Jada Pinkett-Smith that the two did in fact kiss while they were drunk.

"It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss. No making out," Woods said. "I don’t think he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position. When alcohol is involved, people make dumb moves."

The confession infamously led Kardashian to tweet, “Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!”

The public callout let immense criticism of Kardashian seemingly only blaming Woods for the infidelity when Thompson — who has cheated on Kardashian before — was also involved. She addressed the criticism in another tweet, saying, "Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well."

Jenner and Woods ultimately ended their friendship. A year after their split, an anonymous source told US Weekly, "[Kylie] of course misses Jordyn at points, but she was more affected by the hurt that was inflicted upon her family versus her relationship with Jordyn directly. She was very conflicted initially, but after observing all the chaos across the board, she knew she had no choice to step away from the friendship."

During a special reunion episode for Keeping Up With the Kardashians in June 2021, Jenner gave a brief update about their friendship.

“I don’t have any grudge against Jordyn. I think people make mistakes, people live and they learn,” she said. “I have to forgive these people for me, and it’s up to them to forgive themselves and be accountable and learn and hopefully don’t repeat these same cycles.”
