Kylie Jenner is the first woman to reach 300 million followers on Instagram, surpassing the likes of Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Kim Kardashian.
Kylie Jenner has just reached the mark of 300 million followers on Instagram, becoming the first woman to achieve this on the social network. With that, the businesswoman surpassed other famous names, such as Ariana Grande with 289 million, Selena Gomez with 288 million, and even her sister Kim Kardashian with 278 million followers.
At just 24 years old, Jenner is on Forbes' list as one of the richest personalities in the world, estimating that her cosmetics company, Kylie Cosmetics, was worth about 900 million dollars. The young woman gained fame during the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which showed the daily life of her family.
After launching her makeup brand Kylie Cosmetics, Jenner has expanded into various other industries with her skincare brand Kylie Skin, beachwear brand Kylie Swim, and children's lifestyle brand Kylie Baby. The socialite trails behind only two other Instagram accounts in followers, that of Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 388 million followers, and that of Instagram itself, which has 460 million followers.
