Kate Moss' Younger Sister Lottie Reveals She's in Rehab
Just at 24, Lottie Moss has opened up about her drug addiction.
Kate Moss' younger sister Lottie took to social media this week to let her fans and followers know that she was in rehab. The 24-year-old model has faced a long battle with her addictions and wrote in an Instagram caption, "When everyone's glamorized drug use but you're literally in rehab," perhaps in reference to the new season of Euphoria, which deals with young people doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and other controversial topics.
But this isn't the first time Lottie has spoken out about her substance abuse issues. Last year, she gave a statement on the subject, “I've never been happier mentally, I've struggled a lot the last few years with myself, with anxiety and stuff. This is the first time I've ever put myself first and I've really gone out of my way to make sure I get the best out of my life, really feel like the best and truest version of myself! And I love her!"
She added, "My struggles made me act out of character and ultimately I think I was becoming a person I really didn't like, which is why I got high on substances and blamed myself for neglecting my mental and physical health. Going down that path became very difficult to get out of, I was surrounding myself with people who had a similar state of mind to mine and I can see now that it wasn’t helping.”
