Kanye West Responds to Kim Kardashian's Divorce Filing
The rapper and designer has agreed to joint custody of their four children.
Kanye West has finally responded to Kim Kardashian's divorce petition, over a month after she first filed.
After seven years of marriage and speculated months of separation, the reality star and KKW beauty mogul made her split from rapper and Yeezy designer official, filing for divorce in February. With rumors swirling around the celebrity couple, a source told Entertainment Tonight, "The couple has been done for a while and have been amicable for a while. At the end of the day, Kanye and Kim love each other immensely but knew it was time to call it quits."
Kardashian cited "irreconcilable differences" as her reason for divorce, petitioning for joint custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. West's response agrees to the custody arrangement. Neither party is seeking spousal support at the moment.
In her original filing, Kardashian referred to their prenup for splitting their property. West stated in his response that separate property will be determined at the time of trial or settlement. Over the past few months, West has been residing at his Wyoming ranch while Kardashian has been in California.
