Jennifer Lopez Responds Amid Gwyneth Paltrow's NSFW Details About Ben Affleck
Days after Gwyneth Paltrow comments on which of her exes, Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt, was better in bed, Jennifer Lopez breaks her silence.
Shortly after Gwyneth Paltrow's interview on the podcast Call Your Daddy, in which the actress commented with NSFW details about exes Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, Affleck's wife Jennifer Lopez has broken her silence. The comment in question surfaced when Call Your Daddy host Alex Cooper asked Paltrow if Affleck or Pitt was better in bed. Paltrow responds honestly stating, "That's really hard. Because Brad was like the major chemistry love of your life at the time. And then Ben was like technically excellent."
Since the podcast interview, Lopez had a recent appearance on The View, where she gushed about her husband and children. "He's an amazing dad," she said. "It brings tears to my eyes. He is honestly the best dad I've ever seen. He's so involved, he teaches me about how to interact with the kids sometimes."
Following Paltrow's commentary on Affleck's sex skills, Lopez opts to discuss about her husband's familial side rather than his sexual one: "He's just so in tune, he's such a brilliant guy anyway, like he's so learned in so many things, and you can just tell when he's had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it."
She continues, "He is present and that's all you can ask for, is a present, loving dad who cares and who shows up every single day, and that's who he is."
Paltrow and Affleck dated on and off for three years from 1997 to 2000. After officially going their separate ways, Affleck first met Lopez in 2001, though the couple didn't become "Bennifer" until the following year. The couple got engaged months later but broke off the wedding and split up for reasons not officially known.
In their time apart, both Affleck and Lopez went through various relationships and marriages. After marrying Jennifer Garner in 2005, Garner and Affleck had three children but eventually filed for divorce in 2017. Lopez got married to Marc Anthony in 2004 and had twins, Emme and Maximilian, in 2008. The two would later split in 2011.
In 2021, Lopez and Affleck would reunite nearly two decades later, officially birthing "Bennifer 2.0." Unlike their whirlwind romance in the early 2000s, Lopez and Affleck once again got engaged, but this time they made it to the alter. In 2022, "Bennifer 2.0" was confirmed to be married, bringing their romantic journey to a full-circle moment.
