By the time she and Cardi B dropped “Wap” one year later, she likely had an idea.
Hot Girl Summer is more than a mere song or mentality, however—it’s a movement. One that is steeped in female empowerment, body positivity, and, as one could probably guess, looking good. While the concept of Hot Girl Summer arguably transcends the barriers of any lone season, the warmer months do offer an optimal number of avenues for hotties of all walks to indulge in their Hot Girl ways (beach vacations, poolside sessions, Hampton getaways with your former flame shortly after splitting from your longtime fiancee, and the like).
