Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Welcome a Sixth Child
The Baldwin clan just keeps getting bigger. On March 1, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin welcomed their daughter, Lucia, into the world via surrogate. The new addition comes a few months after Hilaria was in the hot seat for allegedly misrepresenting her heritage. The Boston-born fitness instructor faced scrutiny for claiming to have Spanish roots despite being based in the United States for all of her life. Since then, Hilaria has clearly explained her multicultural background and hopes to be more transparent in the future.
Baby Lucia is the sixth child that Alec and Hilaria share, joining Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, and Eduardo, 6 months, with the addition of Ireland Baldwin, whose mother is actress Kim Basinger. Hilaria's choice to use a surrogate is most likely due to her pregnancy troubles in the past, which led her to miscarry twice. She recently took to Instagram saying that the youngest Baldwin is "a dream come true." The baby girl joins an infamous Hollywood family which includes the likes of Jane Sasso, Haily Bieber, and Billy Baldwin. We can't wait to see if the smallest "Baldwinitos" follow in their relative's footsteps.
