Gal Gadot Announces She is Pregnant with Her Third Child
There's another Amazon warrior on the way. Gal Gadot announced she is expecting her third child with husband Yaron Varsano by way of a family Instagram photo. The actress shared a picture of herself and her husband with their two daughters as they cradle her belly, writing in the caption, "Here we go again."
The Wonder Woman star presented at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards while hiding her burgeoning bump under a flowy white dress from Givenchy. However, fans were quick to notice to outfit choice, igniting social media speculation as to whether to actress was pregnant.
The Israeli national recently reprised her role as Diana Prince in the superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984, directed by Patty Jenkins, as was the first. Gadot is also set to reunite with the director for the upcoming Cleopatra biopic. The actress will helm the project as the Egyptian queen, following in the footsteps of the late Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor.
"As you might have heard I teamed up with @PattyJenks and @LKalogridis to bring the story of Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, to the big screen in a way she's never been seen before," wrote Gadot in a tweet following the film's announcement. "To tell her story for the first time through women's eyes, both behind and in front of the camera.”
She continued, “We hope women and girls all around the world, who aspire to tell stories will never give up on their dreams and will make their voices heard, by and for other women.
