Dakota Johnson is not afraid of taboo, and though mental health can still be a sensitive subject for many, the actress is candid when speaking about her struggles with anxiety and panic attacks.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Johnson revealed that she gets stage fright. "When I come to your show and I get really anxious, I laugh and cry—most of the time," she told Fallon. She goes on to describe how she felt while filming a scene for the film Our Friend in which the actress was supposed to sing.

“Singing in front of people is really so scary for me. We had to shoot this scene where you don't even see me, the camera is behind, you can't even see what's going on,” said Johnson. "I was supposed to be acting in a community theater, and they started to reproduce from my vocal recording and said, 'action,' and it was like I had a panic attack that manifested itself in every way possible."

The actress revealed that she ran around the theater, backstage, and started laughing hysterically, which made everyone in the production wonder what was really going on with her. She then started to cry. “I was so scared. It was an extreme flight mode."
