Cher and Alexander Edwards Spark Rekindled Romance Rumors

Cher and her former boyfriend Alexander Edwards seem to be in a relationship again after being photographed holding hands and reportedly on a date while in Beverly Hills, California. The two appeared to be on a double date with J. Balvin and his girlfriend Valentina Ferrer, alongside the rapper Tyga.

In a true couple fashion, Cher and Edwards had somewhat of a matching outfit moment, as they both opted to wear all black. Cher looked chic in a black blazer with white lining and matching trousers. Edwards took a more casual approach with a black puffer jacket, leather pants, and square-toe boots.

The pop icon and Edwards first got together in November 2022, and their romance was immediately met with backlash amidst their 40-year age gap. Cher took to Twitter to fire back at the haters, tweeting, "Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance. I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am."

"Love doesn’t know math, it sees," she tweeted in another now-deleted post.

"haven’t You Got Anything Else 2 Do,” Cher responded to another critic. “Let Me Explain…I DONT GIVE A [flying] FK WHAT ANYONE THINKS."

In January this year, speculation of the two being engaged started to circle the internet when Cher was spotted with a massive diamond ring on her finger. The rumors were later denied as a source told TMZ they wanted to "play into" the speculation.

It all came to an end in May when the two reportedly broke up (kicking off what would become the summer of celebrity breakups). At the time, an insider told TMZ that the former lovebirds ended things a couple of weeks ago, though it is still unclear who broke up with who and for what reasons.

However, another source who spoke to the Daily Mail said Cher and Edwards "never really lost touch."

Now that the two have been spotted again, this leaves many questions to be answered about the status of their relationship.
