Cardi B and Offset Welcome Son
The couple's second child comes three years after the birth of their daughter Kulture.
Just months after announcing her pregnancy, Cardi B and her husband Offset have welcomed their second child, a son on Saturday, September 4.
On Instagram, the singer shared a photo of herself holding her new baby with her husband at her side while lying in her hospital bed under a monogrammed Louis Vuitton blanket. She captioned the endearing post, "9/4/21🦕💙🧸."
"We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son," the couple said to People in a statement. "He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings."
The rappers have yet to reveal the name of their baby son.
The pair announced the impending addition to their family during the 2021 BET Awards in late June of this year. After Offset and the other members of his rap group Migos performed their single "Straightenin," Cardi joined them on stage for "Type Shit" in a jewel-encrusted Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit that featured a mesh paneling to showcasing her growing baby bump.
During the performance, the "WAP" rapper shared a photo on Instagram confirming the pregnancy with the caption, "#2! ♥️."
The couple has been married since September 2017. Less than a year later, in July 2018, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Kulture. Offset is also father to son Jordan, 11, daughter Kalea, 6, and son Kody, 6, from previous relationships.
