Looks like we have the makings of a power couple as today, news broke that Blackpink's Jisoo and South Korean actor, Ahn Bo-hyun are officially dating. The news was first reported by the South Korean media outlet, Dispatch, who included statements from the stars' management agencies, YG Entertainment and FN Entertainment for Jisoo and Ahn respectively.

"They are getting to know each other little by little with good feelings. We would appreciate it if you would keep a warm eye on them," YG Entertainment stated with FN Entertainment making a similar statement saying, "Ahn Bo-hyun and Jisoo are in the stages of getting to know each other with good feelings. We hope you look over them warmly."

Dispatch allegedly received a direct statement from Jisoo herself saying, "I’m still in the beginning, so I’m cautious. I have a good feeling about him. We are in the process of getting to know each other little by little." This is huge news not only because the two are some of the biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry but also because dating overall is handled extremely carefully in the world of K-pop where oftentimes, idols aren't allowed to date altogether.

According to Dispatch, the couple would have dates at Jisoo's apartment due to their busy schedules, especially so with Jisoo flying overseas a lot for the Blackpink Born Pink World Tour. in fact, the K-pop icon just landed back from Vietnam recently after performing sold-out shows in Hanoi. Ahn would drive over to her place with food after Jisoo returns from her overseas activities and spend some quiet time together. "Jisoo is a member of a world star girl group," an insider said, "With public scrutiny, there was no other choice since there are limited date places." The insider also revealed that "Jisoo didn't have many days in Korea so Ahn Bo-hyun coordinated his schedule to fit Jisoo's."

This isn't to say Ahn wasn't busy himself. After the success of Yumi's Cells, My Name, and Military Prosecutor Doberman, the actor also starred in a fantasy romance drama, See You In My 19th Life this year where he played a rich heir who suffers from PTSD. The actor is well-known for being a chameleon in his roles, able to take on a spectrum from romantic to more serious ones.
