Standing alongside her mother Angelia Jolie, Zahara Jolie-Pitt stole the spotlight at the Eternals premiere. The 17-year-old borrowed Jolie's Elie Saab Couture gown that she wore to the 2014 Academy Awards. However, Jolie-Pitt is not interested in glamorous events as she is with the activist side of her mother's career.

Last week, Jolie-Pitt accompanied her mom on a visit to the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. to speak with lawmakers about renewing the Violence Against Women Act. This bill "creates and supports comprehensive, cost-effective responses to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking," and has not been amended since 2013. During the meeting, the 46-year-old star gave an emotional speech on the importance of an updated law to more effectively protect victims of domestic violence.

Soon after the event, the actress took to her Instagram account to reveal how nervous she was before the speech and credited her daughter as her support leading up to the event. Jolie captioned the post, "Heading into the Senate’s introduction of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, I’m grateful and humbled to join with dedicated advocates and legislators. I’m also glad to share in the advocacy with Zahara — and for her presence to calm my nerves before today's press conference."
