Everything We Know About 'All's Fair,' Starring Kim Kardashian
A closer look at the star-studded Ryan Murphy series focused on an all-female L.A. law firm.
Looks like Kim Kardashian is expanding her acting chops. All’s Fair is projected to be a “high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural” in which Kardashian plays the owner of an all-female law firm and has established herself as the premier divorce lawyer in the Los Angeles area. With the city’s dynamic and often messy nature, there’s sure to be drama and wild divorces galore captured on the show, and considering the ultra-celebrity's romantic history, she may well be more of an expert than most, making the role much easier.
The series will be written, directed, and produced by Ryan Murphy, the legendary mind behind Glee, American Horror Story, and The Watcher. It marks his first project under a new deal with Disney, following his exit from an agreement with Netflix.
Kardashian worked with Murphy on American Horror Story’s 12th season, which was based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition. Kardashian spooked viewers in the notoriously scary series, and shocked them with unexpected acting skills that could impress even the most seasoned Kardashian hater. Clearly, her work with Murphy went smoothly, seeing as he’s now eager to cast her in a leading role for the new series.
Cast
Alongside Kardashian stands a loaded lineup of established actresses from Ryan Murphy’s extensive oeuvre: Sarah Paulson from American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, and American Horror Story; Niecy Nash-Betts from Netflix’s Dahmer, Popular, and Scream Queens; Naomi Watts from The Watcher and Feud: Capote vs. the Swans. American singer-songwriter and actress Teyana Taylor is the only cast member who has not previously worked with Murphy, but with an equally strong resumé, she is a promising addition to the cast. Glenn Close, who was announced along with Kardashian, is an eight-time Academy Award nominee and rounds out an incredible list of actresses.
The series is set to premiere some time in 2025, with no dates or plots yet set in stone, so stay tuned for updates.
