Known as the eldest granddaughter of President Joe Biden, Naomi Biden is a 30-year-old lawyer. She tied the knot with husband Peter Neal on November 19, 2022 at one of the most famous residencies in the United States, the White House. Considering her close relationship to her grandparents, it's no surprise that the two now reside with First Lady Jill Biden and President Joe Biden at the White House.

Beyond her show-stopping wedding, here’s everything you need to know about Naomi Biden.

Naomi is 30 years old and is the eldest daughter of Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, and is President Joe Biden’s first grandchild. She was named after her late aunt, who died in a car crash at 13 months old. She grew up in Washington, D.C., and studied at the University of Pennsylvania where she focused her studies on international relations. After graduation, Naomi attended Columbia Law School and is now an international arbitrator associate at the law firm Arnold & Porter.

Her fiancé Peter Neal grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In 2015, he was an intern at the White House during Barack Obama’s Presidency. After a year, he eventually worked on Hilary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania from Carey Law School and works at Georgetown's Law Center. He met Naomi through a mutual friend in New York City in 2018, and he proposed in September 2021 in Jackson Hole.

Naomi, who played an important role in her grandfather’s run for the oval office, married Neal on November 19, 2022, at the White House. This was the first wedding at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue since 2008 when Jenna Bush and Henry Hager got married during her father's administration. She wore a lacey long-sleeve Ralph Lauren dress and all Tiffany jewelry, while at the reception she opted for a strapless Reem Acra dress. Her younger sister, Finnegan, was the maid of honor, while Neal's brother Robert was the best man. The ceremony was followed by a private brunch in the State Dining Room, and later, dancing and dessert at the White House.

While Biden and her husband keep their lives relatively private, she has had a couple of public appearances since her wedding. In February 2023, Biden attended New York Fashion Week, sitting front row at the Simkhai Fall/Winter 2023 show. She also attended a state dinner at the White House with her husband that year, which was hosted for the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Biden then accompanied her grandmother on a five-day trip to Kenya. "This is my third visit to Kenya. And I, you know, I have incredible memories here," said Jill Biden. "In fact, I told my granddaughter Naomi that coming here changed my life. And that's why she wanted to join me. So it's wonderful to be back and I, you know, I couldn't ask for a warmer welcome."

In May of 2023, First Lady Jill Biden and Finnegan Biden, Biden's younger sister, were in attendance at King Charles' coronation, but Naomi was absent from the momentous occasion.
