Jennifer Lopez broke boundaries at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' inauguration when she broke into Spanish mid-performance—a first for the Inauguration Day podium. The singer sang a mash-up of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land," Ray Charles' "America the Beautiful," and her own hit, "Let's Get Loud."

She performed decked in suffragette white in an angelic Chanel outfit of glittering wide-leg pants and a double-breasted overcoat from the Fall/Winter 2020 collection paired with a Fall/Winter 2019 silk blouse. She also showed off her $1 million engagement ring from fiancé Alex Rodriguez alongside no shortage of gold and pearl Chanel accessories.

Prior to the ceremony, J.Lo posted a photo on Instagram in front of the U.S. Capitol building in a houndstooth coat and trousers from Chanel's Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

Preceding Lopez's performance, Lady Gaga, a proven friend to the Biden administration, sang the national anthem in a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown by designer Daniel Roseberry. The "Born This Way" hitmaker donned a navy suit jacket over the red silk skirt, accented by a dove brooch.
