In our current tense political climate, voting gets more and more important each voting season. With 34 Senate seats and all 435 House of Representatives seats up for grabs, midterm elections serve as a crucial election when deciding who you want to have power in Congress. With topics such as abortion access, voting-related policies, and LGBTQ+ rights on the line, this election will be a major deciding factor in what the future of this country will look like.

More than 42 million votes have already been cast, and with so much at stake, each one counts. Former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama were spotted at a voting booth in Illinois and President Joe Biden along with his granddaughter Natalie Biden were also captured casting their votes. It’s not just the running politicians that are pushing Americans to hit the ballot box, but numerous celebrities have been using their platforms to emphasize to their followers the importance of using your right to vote. From Katy Perry to Kerry Washington, L’OFFICIEL has rounded up celebrities who are pushing for you to go out and vote.
