Earlier today, sensational 20-year-old Bea Miller who has been shaping the pop world since her debut on the X Factor in 2013, and Grammy-nominated hip hop artist 6lack shared the music video for their collaborative single, “it's not u it's me.” The video, directed by Pilar Zeta and Jimmy Edgar is a playful portrayal of Miller learning the important lesson of self-acceptance both in and out of her alien-esque dream-world setting. 6lack also makes an appearance in the video, in the role of Miller’s mysterious fairy-godfather, there to reassure Bea of her ability to love herself. The video is fresh and playful but the imagery doesn’t shy away from the meaningful lyrics of the song. Check it out for yourself below.

The song, co-written by 6lack, Justin Tranter and Mary Weitz is one of many new tracks for Miller, as she prepares to embark on her first ever headlining tour. In addition to venues in cities like New York and Los Angeles, the impressive young singer is also making stops at some of the summer’s hottest music festivals including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Osheaga. The grind truly never stops for Ms. Miller, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
