Megan Thee Stallion Is Starting a Tequila Brand

Last Sunday, Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to tease her very own tequila line for the first time. She showed off the ombré orange and red bottle while walking through United Center, the arena housing her Chicago tour stop. She dawned a halter neck matching ombréd body suit and golden accessories. 

The Texan rapper captioned her post, “Chicago Hotties, your [chica] is ready y’all get to have thee first exclusive taste of my new tequila, dropping soon!”

The announcement has sparked a wave of enthusiasm from Megan's devoted fanbase and fellow musicians. R&B singer Tinashe, a close friend of Megan, couldn't contain her excitement, commenting, “The body is insane tea!”  Natalie Nunn, Paris Hilton, and Honey Balenciaga were among the many celebrities showing their support.

Fans also joined in, expressing their pride and admiration. One commented, “next we need cognac from the cognac queen,” In reference to her song “Cognac Queen”. Another commented on the packaging, saying, “That bottle is so cute!”

Megan’s decision to venture into the liquor industry was personal, as she shared during a panel at AdWeek‘s Social Media Week 2024. She spoke about her unique approach to creating music and products, saying, “I create the music I want to hear, I go and do my own thing, and stay true to me.” via ESSENCE. 

While details about the artist's liquor venture has been kept classified, Megan Thee Stallion's new tour is sure to create quite the buzz around it.
